Litchfield Native Takes Home Second Place Prize on Syfy’s ‘Face Off’
Tyler Green signed off the reality TV show “Face Off” as the runner up.
Green, a Litchfield native, celebrated making it to the Season 6 finale with community members Tuesday night at the Litchfield Community Center. The finale drew a big crowd gathering together to party and see the final results. People parked anywhere they could, in the driveway, on the grass, off the lot, to come to watch the finale with Green.
Green said just being in the final three was an accomplishment in itself, and the three of them have become good friends in the show. He also said the support from family, friends and everyone from around Connecticut had been amazing throughout the season. The season had been airing for three months, and making it all the way to the end was quite a journey for the artist.

“It really opens my eyes to new possibilities. My self confidence has been boosted. I feel like I am more of a creative artist, and I am meeting more new people. It opened my creativity to a whole new horizon,” Green said.
Green said the most important thing in the competition was time management and self confidence. He said he had ups and downs during the entire season and constantly pushed himself to his limits. He said he felt like a changed man, and he would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
