Passage to India

Passage to India

If you’re tired of the same-old, same-old Mother’s Day brunch, immerse yourself in the exotic regional flavors of India at Thali this Sunday.

The buffet brunch runs from 12 to 3 at all three Thali locations—Ridgefield, New Canaan and New Haven. “My chefs and I will take you from one region of India to another,” says chef Prasad Chirnomula. “We’ll have street-food snacks, a crêpe station and several grilled kababs and chutneys on flat woks called tawa. Then there’s a selection of salads followed by entrées of lamb, chicken, fish and shrimp, along with plenty of vegetarian offerings.”

Chef Chirnomula says there’s way too much to fit on a single menu. All this, plus dessert, for a bargain $24.95, $13.95 for kids under 12.

Why not journey to an exotic land this Mother’s Day?!
