Table Talk: Ballo Italian

They're dancing on the tables in a lofty space lined with stone arches and columns inspired by the 12th-century abbey of San Galgano in Tuscany.

Ballo Italian Restaurant and Social Club at Mohegan Sun begins the evening with fine Italian dining—antipasti, lobster chitara carbonara, swordfish, veal Marsala, handmade pasta, dolci and formaggio.

Later, the revelry begins as waiters clear a portion of the vast dining space to provide dancing surfaces—from tabletops to window platforms—and a deejay spins the latest dance tunes. Cin cin!
