On Nov. 5, reserve your place in line at Broad Street Books in Middletown to see popular children’s author/illustrator Jan Brett when she makes the only Connecticut stop on her nationwide bus tour there from 5 to 7 p.m. Kids will be offered a front row space (until capacity is filled) so they can enjoy a fun drawing presentation Brett will make before signing books for her fans.
All of her books, including her newest, Home for Christmas and The Night Before Christmas Deluxe Book & DVD Edition (which features Clement Moore’s poem narrated by Jim Dale, and music performed by the Boston Pops Orchestra) will be available for purchase. If Brett runs out of time, Broad Street Books will offer special signed bookplates featuring her artwork for any remaining guests’ books.
