Goodspeed Musicals presents Amazing Grace at the Norma Terris Theatre in Chester.
The musical is based on the true story of John Newton, the clergyman who wrote the classic folk hymn of the same name. Newton, a rebellious slave trader, eventually sees the error of his ways and begins a quest to end slavery, and seek redemption. The play runs through June 10.
