Ross’ Bread employs three full-time bakers who create over 20 varieties of bread including baguette, caraway rye, cinnamon raisin, challah, gorgonzola fig walnut and the popular sweet earth. Pastries include bread pudding, brownies, croissants, pain au chocolate, sticky buns and assorted muffins and scones.

When you enter the reimagined restaurant, the front area is a patisserie, complete with white marble-topped tables, bistro chairs and glass display cases filled with tantalizing pastries. Behind these cases is a coffee bar, serving some of the best café au lait in Greenwich.

I worked with Julia Child, that was my first experience, and through her I ended up at “Good Morning America” from 1986 to 1996 prepping food.
