What could be more delicious and thirst-quenching in this record-setting summer heat, than a nice tall glass of lemonade?

That seems to be the thinking at The Chelsea in Fairfield. The popular pub/restaurant (celebrating its one-year anniversary this month) has several lemonades on the menu—year-round—and they’re definitely for adults only.

There are five on the current list, all made with organic lemonade: the Organic Cucumber Lemonade (with Crop cucumber vodka, cucumber peels and a hint of mint), the Blueberry Lemonade (with Smirnoff blueberry vodka, blueberries, a splash of 7-Up and a lemon wedge), the Black Rock (American Harvest organic vodka, shaken with black cherry-jalapeño purée), the Lawnchair Lemonade (with house-infused strawberry-basil vodka) and the Chelsea Mason (with Jeremiah Weed Sweet Tea vodka and lemon slices, served in a Mason jar).

“We spend a lot of time creating the lemonades and training the bartenders to make sure that they’re made consistently,” says co-owner Scott Beck. “Our customers can’t get enough of them.”
