Banning Sale of Puppy Mill Animals in Connecticut: Activists Maintain Pressure

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) is keeping up the pressure on Connecticut lawmakers to change the laws on the sale of animals as a way to end “the inhumane treatment of dogs and cats in breeding facilities that supply animals to Connecticut’s pet shops.” The quote is from an ASPCA post urging animal lovers to attend Voices for Animals Day today (Feb. 21) at the state Capitol.
