Toni Harp tells Chamber Gov. Malloy 'definitely' running for re-election
State Sen. Toni Harp, the Democratic nominee for mayor of New Haven and a close ally of Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, dropped this interesting line in a forum today hosted by the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce. (Hat tip to the New Haven Register's Mary O'Leary.)

Four Republicans are at least exploring a run against Malloy, and all indications are the governor is indeed running. But with less than 13 months to go before Election Day, Malloy has yet to formally announce his candidacy.
